Barcelona Set to Play Inaugural Game at Partially Completed Camp Nou on Saturday
The club confirmed their first game will take place at the partially upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend. They will welcome Athletic Bilbao in domestic competition 30 months since relocating for construction to commence.

Not all seats will be available with 45,401 fans are permitted inside under the licence granted. After final construction, the Camp Nou is due to hold close to 105,000 fans, up from the previous 99,000. The club said finished work included a renovated tunnel for players and new dressing rooms.
Preparatory Events
The club conducted a public practice inside the stadium on 7 November. Officials stated approval is being pursued from Uefa for their upcoming Champions League fixture against Eintracht Frankfurt next month in the renovated venue. They have been hosting matches at the Olympic Stadium.
