The Miami Heat put up eighty-six first-half scores versus the Grizzlies

Bam Adebayo led the way with 24 scores and later said Rozier had the team's full backing.

"We stand behind him. Complete backing," Adebayo stated. "We are with him all the way. He's like family at the end of the day."

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra added: "Rozier is somebody who is very dear to everyone. He's had a beneficial influence on our team.

"Our thoughts are with him and our care for him as he faces this."

Portland additionally secured their first game since the detentions, with Brazilian Splitter stepping in as temporary head coach in Chauncey's non-attendance and leading the team to a convincing 139 to 119 win over the Golden State Warriors.

"We all had great experiences with Billups and his coaching style," Tiago said. "We're thinking of him and his loved ones but we have a job to do."

League Commissioner Silver 'Disturbed' by Recent Events

Speaking about the detentions for the first time, league head Silver stated he was "very upset" by the events of the recent days.

"Nothing is more critical to the league and its fans than the integrity of the competition," he told a broadcaster. "Therefore I felt uneasy. It was disturbing."

"We investigated the matter and were very transparent regarding it. Although there was the unusual wagering, we, frankly, couldn't find anything.

"Federal authorities has subpoena power... [it] can threaten to put people in jail, can take various actions that the NBA can't do.

"Moreover two and a half years later, he has not been found guilty of any offense, in fairness to Rozier.
