Mohamed Salah Issues Regret to Teammates, Says Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that Salah apologised to the entire Liverpool squad following the fallout from his recent interview.

He was omitted from a European match subsequent to criticising the club and stating his rapport with Arne Slot had deteriorated.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, please accept my apology.’”
The manager has previously declined to comment publicly on whether he received a personal apology from the player.
Team Unity
Jones insisted that the dressing room atmosphere was unchanged. “Nothing about him changed, he had a big smile on his face and we all treated him normally,” he continued.
He also implied that a player's desire to start is less of an issue. “It's clear there are different methods you can handle situations,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just not start, then I think that’s more of an issue.”
Team Form
Liverpool's form have been impressive in the matches since the initial controversy. Jones believes the Salah's words were not designed to cause disruption.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, the source has been from a good place,” Jones concluded. “We’re past that now and we’re uniting strongly, playing well and on a positive run.”
