Young golfer preparing for significant tournament

This young athlete boasts impressive online presence

The young golfer can count on plenty of high-profile backers when she begins her LPGA debut this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of Donald Trump, was granted a sponsor's invitation to compete at the Annika tournament in Florida.

The former president, an avid golfer, owns several international courses and frequently plays against Kai.

"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we play competitive games," she stated.

Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, told her: "Just avoid anxiety."

"He practically advised me to play and enjoy myself," she explained.

"To me, he's just a regular grandfather. He won't be there for the tournament. He's focused on running the country, making him rather occupied."

As an amateur, Kai has played in a mere three competitions this year and holds position 461 in AJGA standings.

However she's able to get advice from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with Kai's mother.

"He stands as the top athlete in the world," Kai expressed.

"Furthermore, he's a superior individual. He suggested me to compete, relax, adapting to the flow."

She'll challenge several most prominent players in the sport at the Annika, featuring world number two Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Officials mentioned that Kai's presence brings the sport to different demographics, specifically among youth audiences.

The social media influencer has a massive following and recently launched her own clothing and lifestyle company.

The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
