The Ideal Pokémon Tales: Z-A Super Form According to the Astrological Sign

The comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread excitement within the community. From the gradual unveiling of newcomers ahead of the title's release, to trainers forming firm opinions on the entire lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for enthusiasts to look forward to.

Given many of the Super Forms boasting distinctive designs that highlight their personalities, one thought naturally: What's the best way to connect this with astrology? This list is based on a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was nearly chosen for Aries, as both are the Super Form and astrological sign that inspire the greatest apprehension. But, a Super Houndoom comes across as always angry, which isn't typical of the Aries vibe, renowned for being playful, light-hearted, and spontaneous. This makes the Ram far more similar to Super Camerupt, which solely spews lava when provoked. Stay on the good side of both and enjoy a strong ally; should you offend them, prepare to face the consequences.

The Bull – Mega Heracross

Similar to a loyal Bull, the reliable Heracross species, whether in its regular and Mega form, has assisted many players in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, each the creature and a Taurus are also Fighting types, and – whether it's their companion or a firm belief – will stand up for their position unwaveringly. The thing about Super Heracross that recalls most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unabashed passion for snacks. Many past Pokédex entries mention their craving for sweet sap and how it employs its appendage to hoard it all, which is true Bull-sign vibe.

The Twins – Super Medicham

Observe this absolute royalty. You cannot convince me this creature is not the soul of any gathering, offering an endless stream of gossip to those who wants to hear. Just like an captivating, sociable Gemini, it's very easy to envision Super Medicham mesmerizing an whole open area with their stories. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also mentions its ability to predict an opponent's future actions, which seems very like a socially-savvy Twins.

Cancer – Mega Manectric

The Crab is widely regarded as the most emotional member of the zodiac, a passionate sign known for often getting absorbed in their feelings. According to the official info, Mega Evolution fills the creature with a “huge amount of electricity, but it's excessive for Manectric to fully control,” which seems a lot like a classic Crab crash-out. This Pokémon is also known for its ability to make a thundercloud over its very head – and if there’s one thing a Crab is going to do, it’s spoil their own parade.

The Lion – Mega Starmie

Oh, did you think I was planning to select Pyroar for the lion of the zodiac? Aside from the reality that it would be much too on the nose, The Lion is clearly Mega Starmie, the diva whose gams just became an internet sensation for being extremely glamorous (or horrifying, depending on your taste). Players couldn’t look away from the violet sea star, and that’s exactly the same energy a Leo brings to the table. This Pokémon is also rumored to be transmitting radio waves from its center out into space, and it’s typical of a Leo to be putting on a show, albeit for aliens.

The Maiden – Super Victreebel

The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Maiden is perfectly encapsulated in Mega Victreebel, the Super Form with constant acid reflux. The zodiac symbol famous for being charmingly judgmental is strongly reflected throughout this Pokémon’s entire evolutionary chain, from a always shocked face like a Maiden when you tell them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its inverted visage that’s just like the emoji a Virgo sends to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than making a strategy.

Libra – Super Audino

Observe this sweet, sensitive creature, who employs the sensors on its ears to detect how others are emotionally by their heartbeat. Consistently empathetic – sometimes to a detriment – and striving to maintain the peace, there are numerous Libras who would probably benefit from Mega Audino’s abilities. However, to be frank, it would probably just make them stress more about others.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a surprisingly sad origin: Discarded as a toy, it became consciousness through pure hatred and swore revenge on its previous caretaker. According to the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That sounds exactly like several discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpion friends. A Scorpio loves karma and retribution, making them the perfect match with Mega Banette.

The Archer – Mega Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always putting on a show. As a Sagittarius personally, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “silly small entertainer” is countless. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “poses to display its strength.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Archer counterpart I can think of.

Capricorn – Super Absol

Did you know that a Super Absol has the power to foresee disasters ahead of time? That exudes the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who tends to always believe they’re right. The thing is, much like a visionary Mega Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the absolute initial Super Form that players meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to join the beginning of the Super Form craze.

The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure

Detached element Water Bearer is arguably the non-fire sign that is closest to a flame symbol – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are numerous memes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being unpredictable accomplices. Super Chandelure's double Ghost/Fire category fits seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's general intimidating aura is also very Aquarius. If you weren’t already persuaded, the Mega’s Pokédex entry says it “absorbs hatred and transforms it into strength.” If that fails to exactly {encaps
